I'm often asked the question, What is Life Coaching? Life Coaching is the latest buzzword in the world of self-help. But as with most buzzwords, a lot of people aren't exactly sure what it truly means. I've heard reservations ranging from "Am I going to be psychoanalyzed and on a couch crying my eyes out and then go home feeling nothing really changed? to "Are you going to fix me?" OR "If I get coaching, I must really be in a bad space." But, none of this is true. A good life coach doesn't fix you. Life Coaching is so much more than just listening to your problems and then sending you on your way still stuck.

It's no secret that just approaching someone to help you, or asking someone for their business, can feel like jumping off a cliff! It's scary stuff! You might be rejected and that doesn't feel good. So, the saboteurs jump in and save the day by convincing you it's a bad idea to begin with. Then you don't take the risk, you don't ask for the business and you are back to your safe life. PHEW! Does this sound familiar?
But soon, the strong inner voice, the one who wants MORE for you, who isn't afraid of risk, but is instead exhilarated by the POSSIBILITIES, starts to whisper again. And you think, "What if I did this, and this, and this....and this? What impact would it have on my life? The World?"
THAT'S the voice that Life Coaching listens for and brings to the forefront. It is the voice of your fulfillment. Your purpose for being on this planet. This voice wants you to express your uniqueness, your gift. It wants the BEST for you. And the BEST for you is also the BEST for the planet. Kind of a win/win here.

Coaching is first about discovery and awareness, and then about choice. It empowers you and helps you discover your OWN answers. Life Coaching is about encouragement and support as you make important choices. It seeks to find your strengths and capabilities, while turning the focus away from your weaknesses. What would your life look like if you lived each day moving forward? Life is short. It goes UBER fast. Do you want to be on your deathbed wishing you had done more with your life?
